- Created by Ken Foster et Sam C. Misemer for Shadoware (U.S.A.), version 1.0 in june 1993, on Windows 3.1. 15 $ shareware.
- Dominate departs from one essential Ataxx rule, because it does not allow to play at the 4 corners of the square containing the possible destination squares, around the origin (so it contains 20 maximum free squares, instead of 24) (see the picture). And it is impossible to jump over a block.
- Note that in the help file, nothing is said about Ataxx, but it is said to be "Based on the ancient game of go". Surprising...
- 8x8 black board. Red and green pieces. Show possible moves. Sound.
- Blocks and beginning pieces positions are changing : 5 configurations are available, also others randomly, also the ability to edit (in the complete version). Blocks may not be diametrically opposed.
- The level is good, but animation is too slow (a player prefers efficacy to the look !).

- I found this game in the CD-Rom #2 of the french magazine Windows News (june 1995). May be downloaded here (122 Kb, zip format).
