Windows 95 game, written in Delphi 2 by Alain Van Den Hove(Belgium). Version 2.2 in august 1997.
Blue board, yellow and white pieces (white human begins). Three blocks in the centre, but in another disposition than in SC Hexxagon and Psion Hexxagon,
The author has invented and called three beginning configurations : the standard board (9 pieces for each player, computer in top, human in bottom), the american board (3 pieces each one, the computer in the top corners, the human in the bottom corners), and the swedish board, similar to the SC and Psion Hexxagon board (so, it would be better to called it "standard"...)
Powerful parameters, ambitious game
As in the Attax Deluxe, it is possible to play with another human on the Internet, with the IP address (the IP of the player is shown, on line, in a window "System information").
Many others parameters (saved in the registry) : 9 levels, choice of algorithm, sound. Indication of possible moves (in red and yellow when the mouse is above).
Le level is strong. 4 algorithms are available for the computer : Complete (= Minimax) , Branch and Bound (= optimised Minimax), Alpha-Beta, Home Made (VDH technic !) (about Minimax and Alpha-Beta algorithms, see our documentation page). The Alpha-Beta level 3 is quick and hard to beat.
