A Québécois, as we say in french (the Québécois are more French than American !), called Ylian Saint-Ylaire, has created this Ataxx in the beginning of 1997. He called it BleuRouge in french, MicroBalls in english, and I allow myself to call it Ylian Ataxx. Version 2.0.
As I answered him, the author said he did not know the word of Ataxx, but he was inspired by the "7th Guest" Microscope.
The trilogy Minesweeper - Reversi - Ataxx
He created this Ataxx on the look of the Win 95 Minesweeper, and also did a look-like Reversi. So the board is 8x8, as these two games.
No blocks. 2 levels. Blue and red colours (human in rouge, but in the high-right and bottom-left corners).
