2003 (or beginning of 2004 ?), appears what seems to be the first Ataxx for phone. It runs on the operating system Symbian and is called Mobile Ataxx. Created by Markus Halttunen, its cost is around $ 8.

It is a classical Ataxx, with blocks. You play against the phone or againt your phoning correspondant., you may pause the game and restart later.
