Newton is a pocket computer, made by Apple, and this Ataxx (Attaxx, as a
reference to Attack...) runs on the operating system Newton OS 2.x. It was written by Michael Peay, from san Diego in California. He works for the Gryphon Software Corporation, and likes very much the Macintosh. The date creation is august 1997.
He presents his game as a simple strategy board game in the same vein as Othello or gomoku.
6x6 or 7x7 or 8x8 board, the pieces are black and white, of course. The beginning positions are classical. Randomly blocks. May be played by one or two humans.
